1 · BeforeThe stump you mow around
Measured across the widest point at ground level. That number sets the price: $7.50 per inch, $200 minimum.
2 · GroundGround 6–8 inches below grade
The stump becomes a pile of chips. Leave them as mulch for free, or have them raked, contained or hauled.
3 · AfterReady for grass or plants
Add topsoil fill ($35–$50 per stump) and seed ($25–$50), and the spot blends back into the lawn in a season.
